How can we create genuinely inclusive organisations? With our Dual Systems Model of Inclusion®, we address this important question.
This research paper focuses on the Inclusive Leader System and specifically, what it takes to become an Inclusive Leader. We argue that it is imperative to focus on the Inclusive Leader as, even within an inclusive organisation, individuals can still feel excluded because of the impact of their line manager on their team’s sub-culture. Drawing on over 50 studies, we outline the benefits of Inclusive Leadership and present our Inclusive Leader System: a model capturing the critical elements of Inclusive Leadership.
